Donate now - to support ICL's commitment to New York's most vulnerable during COVID-19. We have kept all our services open and been a lifeline to so many.
For women at ICL’s Two Bridges Shelter, this quilt came to symbolize social distancing: “Though we could not work close to each other, our squares – and by proxy each of us -- could be stitched together.”

ICL: A LIFELINE IN TIMES OF CRISIS
Our mission to help the most vulnerable New Yorkers has only become more urgent.
Thanks to our incredibly dedicated staff, the Institute for Community Living has been able to meet the unprecedented challenges of COVID-19.
We’ve shifted counseling and support services to tele-health and created new ways of staying connected to clients and families. Every residence – 2500 people call ICL home – are carrying on all operations including serving three meals a day, maintaining apartments and providing emergency psychiatric care and life-saving medications.
Your gift will ensure that ICL continues to be a lifeline for everyone who needs us, as long as this crisis goes on -- and for the years of healing we know lie ahead.
